Summary

GetCodify is built to minimize data collection. Most tools run in your browser. We do not create user accounts or store the content you enter into tools.

Browser-side tools

For client-side tools (JSON formatter, Base64, regex tester, and similar), processing happens on your device. We do not receive that content.

Server-side tools

Some tools require a server request (for example PDF merge/split, bcrypt hashing, HTTP header inspection, IP lookup). Uploaded files and request payloads are processed in memory or temporary storage and are not retained after the response is returned. We do not build a permanent archive of your documents or secrets.

Local storage

We store theme preference and favorite tool slugs in your browser’s localStorage. You can clear these at any time via your browser settings.

Logs and security

Web servers may record standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps) for security, rate limiting, and reliability. Contact form submissions may be logged or emailed to site operators.

Analytics

If privacy-friendly analytics (such as Plausible or Umami) are enabled, they collect aggregated pageview statistics without advertising cookies or personal profiles.

Third parties

IP lookup uses a third-party geolocation API. CDN providers may serve fonts or libraries. Their processing is limited to delivering those resources.
